Kontor Vocal House Session

Unter der Marke “KONTOR” hat Kontor Records mit der “TOP OF THE CLUBS” und der “HOUSE OF HOUSE” bereits zwei Club-Compilation-Serien erfolgreich etabliert, die eine feste Institution in der Dance-Szene und ein zuverlässiges Barometer für die musikalischen Trends in den Clubs sind!

Mit der neuen Serie “KONTOR VOCAL HOUSE SESSION - THE ULTIMATE CLUBBING SELECTION” greift Kontor Records nun ein weiteres Genre elektronischer Musik auf: Vocal House! Nachdem lange Zeit vorwiegend instrumentale Electro-Sounds die Tanzflächen der Clubs regierten, zeigt sich wieder ein Trend in Richtung “soulful” Vocal-House-Music, die sowohl tanzbar als auch zuhause hörbar ist. Immer mehr renommierte Labels veröffentlichen daher vermehrt in diesem Genre und zahlreiche Vocal-House-Klassiker feiern zurzeit ihr Comeback im neuen Soundgewand. Es ist schon ganze 13 Jahre her, als der skurile Manga-Character Abuna E zum ersten Mal zu harten, progressiven Beats über den Bildschirme hüpfte und damit den Auftakt für eine ganz besondere Compilationreihe gab: Die “Progressive Attack” war geboren.
